Impact Summer Throws Meet 2026
Impact is hosting it's first ever summer shot put and discus competition! Saturday, June 20th, 2026, at Downers Grove North High School, 4436 Main Street, Downers Grove, IL.
Boys and girls will be competing in three divisions: Junior High, JV (freshmen and sophomores), and Varsity (juniors and seniors). Awards down to 5th place in each division! $15 for one event, $25 for both.
Gates open at 9:00am, competiton starts at 10:00am. Order of events TBD.

Impact Summer "Learn by Doing" Throwers Clinic
Welcome to Impact's 3rd annual Summer Throwing Clinic! Sunday, July 26th, 2026, Hammerman Field, 485 Crane Ave, Aurora, IL. 10:00am to 3:15pm
Gates open at 9:00am for check-in.
Three technical sessions on throwing (shot put glide, shot put rotational, discus), with an open throwing session at the end, where athletes can get more one-on-one help!
Fees are $50 for one session, $70 for two sessions, and $80 for all three sessions (open throwing included).
Schedule:
9:00am: Gates open
10:00am to 11:00am: Glide Shot Put
11:00am to 11:15am: Break
11:15am to 12:15pm: Discus
12:15pm to 1:00pm: Lunch (on your own)
1:00pm to 2:00pm: Rotational Shot Put
2:00pm to 3:15pm: Open Throwing

Coach Daniele Stubner - Glide Shot Put
Coach Stubner was a long time thrower, specializing in the glide shot put at Minooka High School, through North Central College, when she graduated in 2021. At NCC she also threw javelin, hammer, and weight throw. She is in her 5th year coaching the girl throwers at York High School in Elmhurst, and loves working glide and rotational shot and discus.

Coach Zajac, a 7-year member of Impact, is a multi-NCAA national qualifier and second team All-American in hammer in 2024 and 2025, and 8-year veteran of the discus.
Currently the throws coach and strength and conditioning coach at North Park University in Chicago, his discus bests are 161'6" at Plainfield East High School, and 141'6" at North Central College

Kelsey Kinsley - Rotational Shot Put
Kelsey Kinsley, a 2025 graduate of Ashland University in Ohio, is a 5X All-American and 6X All-Conference in shot put and hammer. Training under Jud Logan and AG Kruger, her shot put personal bests are 41'5" in high school and 48'10" at Ashland University.
